This is “Mawe C” which translates from Kiswahili as “Rock C”, a magical landscape of scattered granite boulders which I have always felt deserving of a more imaginative name. We spent many a charmed afternoon here when living in the northern Serengeti. On this particular afternoon in November 2014, a storm moved in at sunset and the landscape exploded with colours!
