But it is this limitation that forces a photographer to see deeper and sometimes it even allows you to glimpse at the soul of what you see and save it for others to love.”
WILD
Intimate moments with some of Africa´s most iconic and endangered creatures. As with humans, capturing portraits of wild animals in their own environment requires great trust from the subject, placed in the hands of the photographer. It is incredible that these moments are possible at all given the great peril we the human species have placed these wonderful animals in.
EARTH
Vast, wild and incredibly diverse the protected areas on the African Continent are of extraordiary value to humanity, if only we would wake up and realise this. Having grown up in cities, I feel an acutute, near overwhemlng, joy when faced with a view to the horizon, unblemished by the damaging impact of man. This collection celebrates the wonder in the places we have left untouched.
SOUL
I marvel at the details and am especially drawn to the many differnt textures and intricacies hidden in plain sight within the natural world. Though science can explain how inventions of the living world have evolved around functionalty, when I take a close look at the details, I cannot help but think, that there is a decandent beauty, abundant in the soul of life.

My partner Nic and I met in Africa some 12 years ago. Together we fell in love with the wild, open spaces and the astonishing wildlife therein. Taking jobs as field guides and later camp managers we had the incredible privilege to live, work and explore in some of the continents most iconic national parks and reserves. It was life changing for us. In 2015 we founded In The Wild - Tailor Made Adventures, our very own wildlife adventure travel company. In The Wild is about sharing authentic wilderness experiences, astonishing wildlife encounters and meaningful cultural interactions with people that dream of Africa.
